Gratitude

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend”.

– Melody Beattie

Hello Wonderfolks!πŸ–€

Hope everyone is doing good.

When did you lastly use the simple phrase ‘Thank you’?

‘Thank you’ can be a simple phrase but it paves road to goodwill and it creates a stronger bond with people around.

‘Thank you’ and ‘Sorry’ are some of the basic gestures that are taught to a Kindergarten kid.

Have you ever wondered why?

According to me, they are taught in the hope to inculcate the idea of being grateful and thankful to everyone. Although, it is nurtured to us right from the beginning stage of life, we fail to cultivate it.

We live in a monotonous life which revolves around preplanned schedules, fixed routines and a lot of commitments. We lack time to appreciate and acknowledge everything that we have and had in life.

In the world where people keep blaming and complaining about being Quarantined but too often we fail to be grateful for everything that we have in abundance. Keeping the COVID-19 chaos apart take some time to be grateful to yourself for being healthy.

“Gratitude makes sense of a past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow”

-Melody Beattie

Everyone of us have our own religion in our hearts. If you believe in the existence of, the Almighty, the Superpower above everything in the world, then use your prayers to elevate gratitude.

This is not only about being spiritual, scientific proofs exist which says that the people who are grateful to God tend to be healthier and happier.

Are you a frequent ‘Thank you’ user? Then a big high five!!!πŸ˜…

I have got an interesting task :

Write a letter to your mom, dad, friend, or anybody in life you would like to be grateful for. Tell them how much thankful you are and how much they mean to you. This lightens your heart and brightens theirs too.

“In the blink of an eye, it could all be taken away. Be grateful always”.

Let gratitude become our everyday etiquette. It just costs nothing, not even little effort. Let’s be grateful instead of taking things for granted.

Thank you so much for reading! πŸ˜‡
