Golden Love.

New day, new morning,
noticed a new strand of
Grey Hair.

Is that unfair? She asked.
Just a reminder,
that we’re turning old,
but our Love is always
a Fine Gold, he replied.

Served him brewed coffee
along with chocolate cookies.
Seeing him wonder about the
unusual combination,
“Weird but a cute one as us”, she blushed.

As they turned older,
she always found a
new way to love him.

This post is in response to Linda’s SoCS Prompt.

The last stanza was the first thought I had after seeing the prompt. As I began writing it in my notebook, I stringed the words that popped up and this is the outcome.

    I find that many times u write to prompts.

    I am surprised to see how you let your imagination spin from a prompt.

    And in this regard, i am an absolute zero because no one can prompt my brain to create.

    I admire your capability.

      Of course, it is lovely to see them together. I found it difficult to choose a picture to add here since all of the old couple pictures were so so beautiful!! They were so cute as babies pictures!❤️❤️❤️❤️
