Sky’s Jewel.

You adorn the velvety dark sky
and hide all your cry.

Gave us hope –
“You’re a Stunner”, praised my Telescope.

You’re a proof that –
Beauty lies in all shape,
and don’t you blush when being gaped?

Though surrounded by trillion stars,
you outshine,
all of them with, own Shine.

Your Lunar phases
are more beautiful than fake faces.

You are my happy pill,
to the Insomnia, curing all ill.

Standing alone,
you shimmer as a bright Moon.

Thank you so much for reading!🙂

Thank you so much for this comment.
I have heard of Spillwords but never thought that this is worth publishing, I’ll surely submit this. I’ll happy if they publish it, I’m extremely glad seeing this comment itself.😄❤️

    1. Hey, Ashiq!
This is my first poem that’s not a response to any prompts. So far, I had been writing poems as a response to prompts. I had a slight hesitation before publishing it but I’m happy seeing lovely comments!

I’m glad you felt the connect and I love poems related to nature too.
Picture credits goes to my Friend.😇
      Thanks for reading!

  1. Good work hema. Congratulations on your first poem without prompts. Well done.

Nature is a great book. You have a great opportunity to write upon. She is never bereft of new ideas and new ways to look at things and mesmerize your readers.

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words, Sir. You always comment when I’m desperately in need of positivity.

I agree you, nature is a best topic to write on. I’ll surely make more attempts to write on the same topic.😇
