Need a company?
The cozy chair in the
balcony is empty.
There’s a tapestry of stars
to be gazed at.
They savour the sempiternal solitude by,
twinkling alone admist the crowd.

I hear the murmured secrets, I’m all ears, stars whisper.
Their shine fondle the hearts
that are withered as rose.
Under the canopy of clouds,
humans get lost and rediscover themselves.

The cosmic mystery above is
bemusing but worth decoding.
The huge black blanket
enlightens all dull souls.
Vast sky,
that’s quite and still
is an oozing melancholy,
an unsung melody.

This poem has 6 prompts from various Instagram pages. Due to time constraints I tried to bring in many prompts in a single piece.

      1. what!? 😂
        I’m being truthful 😀. Someone told me to use metaphors and stuff in poetry and I just can’t…like I. Just. Can’t 😂. It’s not in me, I’ve tried (not my best).

      2. I don’t even realise what I write. It would be hard to believe but trust me I didn’t notice the metaphor in “Musings of a Butterfly”, only when people commented about the metaphor in it, I realized I’ve unknowingly used metaphor…😂

        I didn’t notice the metaphor too, I can’t identify them very welll 😂

        It’s too much thinking, which I don’t like 😂. Yeah, I can though, if I try 😃

    sind oftmals
    so hell

    der Rauch indessen
    am wirklichen Himmel
    das Universum
    mit dunkler
    Watte bedeckt

    anderen Menschen
    kann ich die Gesundheit wünschen
    nicht aber aus ihrer eigenen Not
    ihnen selbst weiter helfen
